News Flash for Palin: McCain part of political estabishment

Sarah, Sarah, was it wise to bite the hand that feeds you? Especially as they fall all over themselves praising your empty speech simply because they thought you delivered it well. You went for the throat of the media when they just want to love you, like they love your new boss, John McCain. Here's what you said:

I'm not a member of the permanent political establishment. And I've learned quickly, these past few days, that if you're not a member in good standing of the Washington elite, then some in the media consider a candidate unqualified for that reason alone.

Now Sarah, would you agree that being in the Senate for 26 years put you in the category of the political establishment? If so, was that a swipe at your boss? Also, since you're so new to the scene, you may not realize that McCain himself has a very special relationship with the media. Here's how he described it to Andrea Mitchell from NBC News:
"I'll leave that up to the media. And, frankly, I'm very pleased with the relationship that I've had with the media over many years."
In fact, the media has been kind enough to overlook most of McCain's incorrect statements and inappropriate slips of the tongue. So Sarah, my advice to you is this: Play nice with the media if you want them to continue to overlook your inadequacies.
