Pay attention women: Palin and McCain want to overturn Roe v. Wade

Tonight during Sarah Palin's interview with Charlie Gibson, she made no bones about her extreme position on reproductive rights. When Gibson asked Palin if she thinks Roe v. Wade should be reversed, she didn't hesitate when responding:

"I think it should."

That response is without a doubt the most straightforward answer she has given to any question yet. No hedging, no yammering inanely about unrelated topics. This is clearly a priority for her.

Of course McCain also supports overturning Roe v. Wade but stops short of saying women should be denied access to an abortion in the case of rape or incest. Not Palin. She had no qualms about it laying it on the line. When Gibson asked if she only believed in abortion in cases where the life of the mother was in danger she replied "Yes" and went on to say her personal opinion is that abortion should only be allowed if the mother's life is in danger. She even went so far as to say, "I think a culture of life is best for America."

Glad you know what's "best" for America Sarah. Hopefully, you and McCain will never have the chance to make the rest of us march to the beat of your drummer.
