Folksy Sarah leaves out a small detail

Sarah's cloyingly folksy "Sam's Club" approach to politics is evident in her acceptance speech. Here's a sample, while discussing how she 'shook up' Alaska's government...

"While I was at it, I got rid of a few things in the governor's office that I didn't believe our citizens should have to pay for. That luxury jet was over the top. I put it on eBay."

Sarah failed to mention that the ridiculous gesture of putting the plane for sale on eBay did not lead to a sale. After trying and failing three times to sell the plane on eBay, it was eventually sold through an aircraft broker for a $600,000 loss. So before everyone starts giving her high-fives for her eBay triumph, take a step back and realize it was nothing more than a political gimmick.
